Scattered around each of the greater nomadic Fiannor tribes are a dozen or so small clans who act as scouts. The head of such a clan is known as a Farfarer.
These satellite clans are the ones most likely to make first contact with enemies, and their job then becomes to misdirect, divert and hinder the foe while the tribe mobilizes its fighting might.
Due to their fragility, Farfarers are not melee specialists, but they are instead probably the greatest archers in the world, and their access to magic bows as well as magic arrows makes them devastating long-range killers.
In addition, the Farfarer possesses tactics to boost the shooting effectiveness of his troops and the powerful Ambush ability, allowing extra models to be activated in a single turn.
