Once loyal servants of the Many-Named, the orcs splintered into scattered tribes and bandit kingdoms after his defeat. Now, they roam the wild lands bordering the Free Kingdoms, their former power diminished by the passage of centuries.
The strength of the High Queen has kept them largely pacified, though orc raiders still prey on undefended trade caravans and outlying villages. Yet, fractured and divided, they have not raised their banners in open war in mortal memory.
Recently, however, troubling whispers have begun to spread-rumors of something stirring in the lands of the Orc. The Free Kingdoms watch and wait...
