The Ferrum Class Drone Base is a massive ground unit which deploys and controls Starsprite drone squadrons. While it cannot operate more than eight drones at any one time, it is able to replenish losses during battles from its internal hangar. Like almost all UCM ground vehicles the Ferrum is fully air deployable, in this case by an Albatross Heavy Dropship.
Front runway and command island are moving parts once assembled, to allow the Ferrum to actually fit into an Albatross if required!
Kit comes complete with 8 airborne Starsprite drones and one drone with wings folded, allowing assembly onto the Ferrum's hangar lift, which is also a separate part that can be glued in raised or lowered.
