Matilda II (x1) Product Description
In combat the Infantry Tank Mk II (A12) Matilda has earned its title as the ‘Queen of the Battlefield’. It is the most powerful tank in the British armoury and its frontal armour of 78mm (3 inches) is essentially impenetrable from most German tank and anti-tank guns.
A Matilda II Tank Company is made up of four troops, though it was quite common for the formation to also be equipped with the smaller Matilda I infantry tank. The headquarters also
has a Light Mk VIB tanks for liaison work where its speed is useful.
