The heart of the set is the two-part foam tray for Arachnarok Spider and Mangler Squigs. The large compartment of the lower tray accommodates the manned Arachnarok. Thanks to the exact custom-cut, the filigree figure remains in its softly padded place even during transport. The sensitive parts are optimally protected from damage and no Grot falls off the platform. The colors of the painted miniature are also safe from abrasion and scratches.
Next to the spider there is also a custom-fit compartment in which the Mangler Squigs are calm for once. Balls, chains and crew are absolutely safe here. Once you’ve placed the models in the lower tray, just lay the upper tray on top. The upper tray features a custom cut-out for the howdah which is thus gently engulfed and the Mangler Squigs is covered.
The tray for the Squig Hoppers, Fanatics and Skagrott the Loonking has 9 long compartments of different sizes. The 9 compartments have the following dimensions:
- 6 compartments: 90 mm long x 35 mm wide x 50 mm deep
- 2 compartments: 90 mm long x 50 mm wide x 50 mm deep
- 1 compartment: 50 mm long x 50 mm wide x 50 mm deep
The tray for the Grot Spider Riders is divided into 12 compartments. The compartments have the following dimensions:
- 8 compartments: 79 mm long x 28 mm wide x 75 mm deep
- 4 compartments: 70 mm long x 28 mm wide x 75 mm deep
The tray for the Squig Hoppers, Fanatics and Squigs has 9 compartments. 6 long compartments are suited for Squig Hoppers and Fanatics, 3 small compartments will hold Squigs. The 9 compartments have the following dimensions:
- 4 compartments: 105 mm long x 45 mm wide x 40 mm deep
- 2 compartments: 105 mm long x 39 mm wide x 40 mm deep
- 3 compartments: 35 mm long x 27 mm wide x 40 mm deep
The two trays for Squigs, Stabbas and Shootas have 20 compartments each. Die conical shape of the compartments ensures optimum usage of space.
The 20 compartments of each of the two trays have the following dimensions:
- 8 compartments: 49 mm long x 25 bis 30 mm wide x 25 mm deep
- 8 compartments: 39 mm long x 25 bis 30 mm wide x 25 mm deep
- 4 compartments: 37 mm long x 25 bis 30 mm wide x 25 mm deep
Finally, the set contains a foam tray with 77 compartments for dice. Each of the 77 compartments is 14 mm long x 14 mm wide x 15 mm deep. The tray is thus suited to hold D6 dice with a side length of up to 14 mm.
The matching foam topper completes the set. The topper makes sure that nothing can fall out of the trays or bump against the lid of the storage box.
The storage box is made of coated, double-walled cardboard. This makes it not only pleasantly light, but also very tear-resistant and stable. The attachable lid reliably protects the contents from dust and other external influences. Two plastic-reinforced carrying handles on the side allow for smooth transport of the box.
