When a Hive Fleet attacks a planet, Tyrannocytes are used as transport organisms to take the Tyranides from the Hive Ship to the target world. On impact, the gravid belly opens and releases the units onto the planet.
To prevent its belly from bursting during transport to the tabletop, you can get the foam set here to protect your miniature.
The set includes:
- 1 Feldherr foam tray as lower part for base and further miniatures (FSMEOT125BO)
- 1 Feldherr foam tray as upper part (FSMEOR115)
The large round compartment in the middle of the lower tray is tailored exactly to the width of the Tyrannocyte miniature. It fits here standing on the base, with both closed and open armoured carapace. The filigree model with its sensitive tentacles is thus securely accommodated and optimally protected from damage.
Because of the height of the miniature, the set comes with an attachment that takes care of the upper part of the model. With this the deathspitters are also protected. The precisely fitting cut prevents the figure from slipping around during transport. This also preserves the colors of the painted miniature from abrasion and scratches.
- Alternatively, the lower insert can be used individually, i.e. without upper part, to store a Sporocyst and Mucolid Spore miniature.
You can place 6 Spore Mines in the six small compartments of the lower insert. The large rectangular compartments offer space for up to four Mucolid Spores. Of course you can also use these compartments for other Tyranid miniatures.
The rectangular compartments have the following dimensions:
- 4 compartments: 63 mm long x 55 mm wide x 115 mm deep
- 6 compartments: 39 mm long x 28 mm wide x 115 mm deep
