The cruelty and sadism exbibited by House Bolton is not only reserved for their enemies. The leaders of their troops can be just as harsh to their subordinates as they are to captured soldiers. Steelsbanks Walton, Skinner, and Sour Alyn all have their special forms of cruelty they inflict on others. Ben Bones, Tybald, and Damon Dance-for-Me perform their atrocities with sadistic glee. However, even they must be cautious, for if they ever gain the ire of those above them, they would not be safe from having their brutal technique unleashed upon themselves. Life in House Bolton is always on a knife edge, often literally so.
