War of the Worlds Game Product Description
Designed by Bill Banks, War of the Worlds, is a fun and fast-paced send up of H. G. Wells\' classic story. This two-player game is composed of an 8-page rule book, a 22" x 17" color map, and a full sheet of color, double-sided, die-cut counters.
Players need a six-sided die to play. One player controls the military of Queen Victoria in a desperate defense of 1880s London from the malicious forces of the evil Martian overlord, controlled by the other player. The British military is composed of Infantry, Cavalry, and Artillery. It is supplemented by some helpful civilian units like Police and Firefighters. The human player can also bring Heroes and Infernal Machines into play. The Martian Overlord\'s attack force is composed primarily of devastating Walkers and Saucers. It can be supported with various Martian mobile installations, Evil Minions, and even a Kaiju-esque Monster brought from Mars to terrify and annihilate human resistance.
Solitaire rules are included. Play time is about an hour.
