Troglodytes Skullsmasher Oakbows

While Gnoll arms are relatively weak, and cannot draw much tension in a bow, this is not true of their legs, and so it was a natural development that Gnolls began to use great-bows employing all of their muscles.

The great-bows have such tension that they require a seated position for an effective draw.

To be a Skullsmasher is a great privilege since it means they are able to skulk around at the back of the battlefield where there is little danger. Such is a prized position for these cowardly creatures.

Typically they deploy on hillsides, where they command a view of the whole battlefield, or from just inside forests to gain protection from charging enemies.

Oakbows are best used to take down high-armored targets such as heavy infantry or monstrous creatures, where the bows great power is most beneficial.

For best results, deploy them with a Packlasher who gives them advanced deployment and can occasionally encourage them to shoot twice per turn with a good lashing.
