Quite unconventionally, the Sergeants of the Landwehr are universally drawn up from veterans of Prussia's previous conflicts, putting their years of past experience to good use leading and teaching the fresh-faced draftees. The men of the Landwehr, though clerks, boys and workers only months ago, are an efficient fighting force under the watchful eyes of these 'Old Hands'.
The most skilled of the Landwehr are armed with the Tankgewehr Model 1868 anti-ironclad weapon. Able to project a 23.2mm hardened-steel projectile at a velocity of nearly 3,000 feet - per -second it is more than capable of tearing through the armour of any enemy tankette or armoured carrier at range, and can even present a threat to heavier ironclads should they be foolish enough to rush the Prussian line, exposing thinner side and rear armour.
Contains:1 x Landwehr Sergeant and 1 x Landwehr Specialist. All models supplied unpainted and unassembled.
