Legion Store Championship Sat Sep 23rd Product Description
All Commanders report in! We have a 1-day Store Championship tournament of Star Wars: Legion gaming at Element Games on Saturday 23rd September 2023!
Organised by Element Games, there will be a whole day of battling against other players for the coveted title of Store Champion and be in with a chance to win a Worlds Invite as per the Store Championship OP kit.
EVENT FORMAT:
This will be a Regular (800 points) Swiss-style tournament played over 3 rounds across 1 day with 2hr 30mins per round and a Top 2 Cut finale to determine the overall winner. Final Swiss standings and awards will take place at the end of the third round and the Store Champion award will take place after the final cut round.

09:30 - 12:00 First Round
12:00 - 12:30 Lunch
12:30 - 15:00 Second Round
15:15 – 17:45 Third Round
17:45 - Swiss Prizes
18:00 - Top 2 Cut Final Round
20:30 - Store Champion Award
20:45 - Close
The Event will follow the AMG Store Championship OP kit tournament rules and use the current Legion Ruleset.

Lists MUST be submitted to Longshanks no later than 9pm on Thursday 21st September.
Late attendees will still be allowed to play but will forfeit their round 1 game. In order to keep the event to time, a no exception hard dice down will be called 5 minutes after the timer ends for each round. Do Not start a new round after the round time has been called.
Tie Breakers will be SoS, then APs scored, then VPs Scored.
ARMY LIST BUILDING:
The event will be open to all factions. Each players army cannot exceed 800 Points but may be less than 800 Points. Each player’s army may include as many upgrades as allowed for their chosen squads. Player’s will need to include a copy of their army list to present to their opponents should it be requested and ensure that all upgrade cards in the list are brought with them.
PRIZE SUPPORT:
Prize support will be from the Store Championship OP kit with additional prizes in the form of Element Games Vouchers for the top players.
Special Bounty Prizes will be available on the day for achieving special goals during play.
The winner will be crowned Store Champion 2023 and be entitled to claim the Worlds Invite to the 2024 Legion Worlds Tournament.
FOOD & DRINK: Snacks and drinks are available from the on-site bar. External food is permitted during the lunch break. We recommend that you bring your own lunch but there are local shops and food venues within a short walking distance of the venue. We ask that you do not bring any external drinks in to the venue and rather that you support the venue by purchasing all drinks at the bar.
TRAVEL & PARKING:Free parking is available in the venue car park and in the local authority car park next door to the venue. There are good public transport links within the area. Davenport Train Station is the nearest train link within a 5-minute walk of the venue. Stockport train station and Stockport bus station are 15-minute walks from the venue with good bus and taxi routes available. If catching a bus from Stockport bus station we recommend catching the Stagecoach 192 bus up to Nangreave Road/ Aquinas College/ Bamford Arms. If travelling from further afield and wishing to stay overnight there are lots of hotels within 5 minutes of the venue including a Premier Inn across the road behind the Bamford Arms.
