The foam tray with the 30 compartments allows you to store 24 models including the bases. 16 compartments are available for very small ships like e. g. Gal Gath’Thong, U.S.S. Enterprise or Ni’Var. Further 8 compartments provide space for slightly longer models like D’Kyr or U.S.S. Enterprise E. In addition, the tray features 6 compartments which allow you to store the 24 bases for the 24 ships.
The 30 compartments have the following dimensions:
- 8 compartments: 74 mm long x 32 mm wide x 30 mm deep
- 16 compartments: 50 mm long x 32 mm wide x 30 mm deep
- 6 compartments: 50 mm long x 46 mm wide x 30 mm deep
The tray with the 16 compartments will hold very small ships like Gal Gath’Thong, U.S.S. Enterprise or Ni’Var (without base).
- Each of the 16 compartments is 54 mm long x 35 mm wide x 30 mm deep.
The tray with the 5 compartments allows you to store medium-sized models. 1 large compartment is suitable for ships like e. g. Scimitar. 4 further compartments are optimal for slightly smaller ships like e. g. Changs Bird of Prey oder 2nd Division Cruiser.
The 5 compartments have the following dimensions:
- 1 compartment: 78 mm long x 60 mm wide x 40 mm deep
- 4 compartments: 137 mm long x 78 mm wide x 40 mm deep
Medium-sized and large models are best accomodated in the foam tray with 6 compartments. Models the size of Tactical Cube 138 fit here perfectly.
- Each of the 6 compartments is 73 mm long x 80 mm wide x 65 mm deep. The 4 corner-compartments have 1 rounded corner each.
Dials, (sleeved) cards and large bases find a well-ordered home in the 2 trays with 8 compartments each. 1 compartment each will hold (sleeved) cards, 4 round compartments each provide space for your dials, 1 compartment each will accommodate large bases (e. g. Tactical Cube 138 Base). Finally, there are 2 compartments each for small game material like e. g. plastic stands.
The 8 compartments of each of the 2 trays have the dimensions:
- 4 round compartments with 52 mm diameter
- 1 compartment: 52 mm long x 22 mm wide x 35 mm deep
- 1 compartment: 84 mm long x 84 mm wide x 35 mm deep

Of course, the foam trays fit exactly into the robust MAXI bag. The bag is made of particularly hard-wearing fabric. Padded side panels and a reinforced base additionally ensure that the contents are optimally protected from external influences. Next to the large main compartment, the bag has a smaller pocket with a zipper at the front. Game sheets, books and writing material can be stored here, for example.There is a rubberized, easy-grip carrying handle on the top. If you prefer to keep your hands free, you can also use the bag as a shoulder bag thanks to the solid, removable shoulder strap.
