Team Stonehammer presents the Gravel Pit GT 2 Nov 11th & 12th!
A 44 person, 10th Edition Warhammer 40,000 tournament. Held over 5 rounds at Element Games North West Gaming Centre, with lists capped at 2000 points.
Forge World units are welcome, provided they aren’t Legends, and all official Games Workshop FAQs released up Friday 3rd November 2023 will be used.
The list submission deadline is midnight on Saturday the 4th of November 2023.
The event will be run with a Glasshammer Competitive Terrain Set on each table. So, there will be an identical terrain layout and a good amount of obscuring cover to ensure balanced games of high-level competitive play.
Along with your army, you will need to bring your own dice, tape measure, objective markers and army rules. There is also a three colour minimum painting requirement for all models used, and any proxy models should be approved by the tournament organisers prior to the event.
Doors open at 9am for registration, and the first round on both days will start at 9:30am. Saturday the 11th of November 2023 will have three rounds, and Sunday the 12th will have two rounds followed by a short prize-giving ceremony that should finish around 5pm.
The ticket cost includes a subway buffet lunch on both days, and there is also a selection of shops and cafes within walking distance of Element Games.

Although this is a competitive event, casual players are welcome and encouraged to attend. There is only ever one winner of a tournament, and most people who attend come to have five fun games of Warhammer 40,000 with people who are sociable and friendly. Tournaments are a great way to meet others from the local gaming community, and make friends with like-minded people who love to play and talk about Warhammer.
