New iconic heroes and terrifying monsters!
Epic Challenge enriches the Core set\'s gameplay in components and game mechanics. As new iconic heroes, Seoni the wizard and Fumbus the alchemist, along with their new spells, feats and item cards, introduce new mechanics and new possible strategies to players.
Five new monsters (Black Dragon, Goblin Pyro, Gargoyle, Nightmare, Pharoah Mummy) increase the diversity of the game and add new special monster abilities.
Trap tiles introduce a whole new game mechanic. More precisely, they replace some Arena Tiles and teach a new way to score points. As soon as you reach them, first roll the summoning die to check if the trap is active.
Then you draw a trap card.
These cards are divided into four decks, reflecting the game\'s four rounds. They give you a challenge based on your ability modifiers. If you succeed, you get honour points; otherwise you get bad luck points.
