Spirit Light Gates Product Description
The Spirit is the lightest and fastest of all Shaltari Gates, and is primarily utilised for scout and advance infantry insertion. Its considerable speed and small footprint makes it particularly useful for rapid deployment and extraction missions. Its power generators are far more modest than its larger cousins however, and as such it cannot teleport vehicles larger than the Yari light grav-tank.
The Spirit features extremely light armour, which is understandable given its great speed and remarkable compactness. However, it does gain a measure of additional protection from its shield generator, a feature common to all Shaltari constructs.
Like its earthbound cousin the Haven Terrgate, the Spirit features fine teleport node focusing capabilities. These allow precise adjustments of the field and thus the ability to teleport warsuit-clad Shaltari infantry onto the battlefield. Larger Gates cannot do this, since they are designed for power rather than precision
