1/20 Tyrrell 003 Monaco 1971 Product Description
The main race versions offered in this kit are for the cars of Stewart and Cevert from Monaco but the instructions also mention the Spanish race and alternative numbers. The instructions are wrong on this detail as in Spain the cars ran the same format and numbering as at Monaco, Stewart wining both races. The alternative numbers offered are correct for Holland, but you will need to find rain tyres. Stick to Monaco and all is fine, with plenty of engine and chassis detail, very realistic looking tyres and the mirrors are supplied pre-assembled and with a vacform template for drilling the mounting holes. The seat belts are decal and as with previous Ebbro F1 kits, we are advised to use a Tamiya harness set (TAM12637) as an upgrade.
