Samurai of the 16th Century (25) Product Description
The Warring States or Sengoku period of Japanese history in the 16th Century saw the rise of massive Samurai armies as rival Daimyo (Feudal Warlords) and their clans battled for supremacy and the title of Shogun. Thousands of men fought and died for the glory of clan and Daimyo armed with only spear, sword, bow or primitive firearms. The Samurai, as the core of these armies, were gradually replaced by Ashigaru during this period as the rise in firearms use increased.
This set contains 5 sprues. Each sprue contain 5 Samurai with weapons and accessories for a total of 25 figures. This set includes 25 square 20mm x 20mm x 2mm bases.
