Mirelurk is a catch-all term for a variety of heavily mutated crustacean or turtle species. Among the first mutants to be encountered, they are tenacious survivors, heavily armoured and extremely deadly for anything too slow to outrun them.Queens are a rarely seen species, but are at the top of the Mirelurk food chain, towering over even Super Mutant Behemoths: rivalling them in both speed and power.
Powerful claws, teeth and the ability to secrete potent acid make the Queen a handful for unprepared Wastelanders. To say nothing of their ability to rapidly birth new hatchlings that are just as aggressive as their older kin, that may gestate rapidly to adulthood when faced with immediate danger.
