Geraint Nerthol - Mighty Geraint - is an avowed ally of Cadwaladr who lends his blade and his Teulu to Teyrnas Gwynedd in their defiant struggle against the invaders. Whilst he may be Teyrn of Cedweli with duties and sons and daughters in the south, he knows that only the Red Dragon has the power to strike beyond the borders of the Cymry; for other kings, those of Dyfed and Powys, of Glywysing and Gwent, have only the strength to defend their lands against the raiders or are too insular, too set in their ways to see the truth. In this age of darkness, only Gwynedd amongst the Brythoniaid can take the fight to the Fomoraic, the Khthones, the Norse and the traitorous pirates of Cernyw, and Geraint would be a part of that fight.
