A high density acrylic gel, pigmented to imitate the shading of the Mediterranean Sea, the Vallejo Water Effect Mediterranean Blue's final effect can further depend on the colour of the ground it is applied to. Further variations in tonality can be achieved by blending with another Water Effect colour, with Transparent Water or with white, black or indeed any other colour.
