Black Powder Prussian Foot Artillery with 7 or 10-inch howitzer (1813-1815) Product Description

Rain destruction from on high with this powerful artillery piece for your Prussian Black Powder collection!

Famously described as an ‘army with a country attached’, Prussia during the latter period of the Napoleonic Wars was a highly militarised state whose very survival depended on the strength of its army. While not as renowned as the infantry or cavalry, nor as numerous as the Landwehr militia, Prussian artillery was a crucial part of the army, delivering vital fire support to the troops. Howitzers, powerful weapons delivering explosive shells in an arc over the heads of friendly troops to land amidst the enemy, were part of the ‘foot’ artillery, intended to be emplaced before the battle in the best possible position.

A lethal weapon capable of decimating enemy formations (if it can hit them!), this powerful howitzer can be assembled as either a 7 or 10-inch model, ready to lend crucial fire support to your Prussians!

Contents:

1x Howitzer with parts to assemble as a 7-inch or 10-inch, with four crew in metal
Please Note:

The product is supplied unpainted, and some assembly may be required.
