Pigments are a fantastic way to add realism to your miniatures and bases. Many painters shy away from them as they can be intimidating to the uninitiated used them before, however their flexibility and ease of application make them a forgiving and effective tool to have in your arsenal.
They can be used dry or wet, and easily manipulated with a brush before being fixed with a matt varnish spray.
