80mm x 25mm round black resin display plinths, from Taro Modelmaker.
Each high-quality plinth is cast in strong black resin, and machine sanded to ensure the top and bottom surfaces are parallel.
Available in seven different diameters.
Preparation tips from James:
'Prior to use it is recommended to clean each piece in warm soapy water to remove the residue release agent. Persistent release and silicone residue can be removed with spirit-based fluid and an old toothbrush. Wash in water after using spirit-based cleaners. If any small bubbles are present they can be filled with superglue applied from a pin tip and sanded back. Always wet sand resin using fine grit wet and dry, sanding from course to fine paper to remove surface marks (240, 320, 400, 600 grit for example). I would always recommend spraying your plinth in a flat coat of black to even out the colour.'
