FRIDAY NIGHT MAGIC @ ELEMENT GAMES It's not all about the NIGHT! Casual Magic is available all day from 8am. Turn up and play, bring your mates, play whatever formats you want!! Feel free to use this events page to arrange games. And not only is it Free to play but 2 lucky casual players will win a FNM promo card (you don�t have to enter the ranked event to win the promo cards!! � of course you could do both!) FNM Ranked Event starts at 7pm (prompt) 29th January is Standard, 45 min rounds, Swiss Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 2 Random players Prize pot dependent on actual numbers but includes (and not limited to) Boosters and/or FNM Promo cards. Prizes will be allocated by the TO on the night before the event kicks off so you all know what you are playing for! Tickets (link to follow) �3.50 in advance, �4.00 on the night The Standard format uses the most recently released Magic sets. The following card sets are currently permitted in the Standard format: Battle for Zendikar Magic Origins Dragons of Tarkir Fate Reforged Khans of Tarkir Standard is also a constructed deck format, so the normal constructed rules apply: Minimum of sixty cards No maximum deck size, as long as you can shuffle your deck unassisted Up to fifteen cards in your sideboard, if used No more than four of any individual card in your main deck and sideboard combined (with the exception of basic lands) Check out the Official Magic the Gathering Tournament rules for more details: http://wpn.wizards.com/en/resources/rules-documents
