Fief: France 1429 Product Description
The game board represents a portion of the Kingdom of France in the Middle Ages and is split into villages, fiefs and bishoprics that can overlap each other. One player may control a village that is part of another players Bishopric for example.
Each player controls up to four family members, comprised of male and female nobles. These family members will rise in power by gaining Royal and Ecclesiastic Titles. By gaining control of fiefs these family members can become Barons, Earls,Dukes and potentitally King! Likewise by controlling Bishoprics they can become Bishops, Cardinals and even Pope. These titles grant proviledges and victory points to the player.
