This is part 1 of a 2-part tournament, with part 2 on 30th March, with 4 rounds played over the two dates. But please feel free to come even if you are only available for one of the two dates – you may not be in the running for a podium spot but you will still get two great games of Middle Earth, as well as spot prizes on the night! One Longshanks event will be used to track both events.
THERE IS A SEPARATE TICKET FOR EACH DAY – please buy both if you are coming to both.
If you are coming to both events, you must bring the same army to both dates. List submission is required for this event.
If you can only attend day 1 but not day 2, please drop from the event on Longshanks after day 1 has concluded.
Any matched play-legal 750pt force is OK to be used. There are no painting requirements - bare plastic is fine but WYSIWYG is requested. Please get in touch with me at

Scenarios will be taken from the Matched Play Guide and played on regular 4’x4’ boards, but don't worry if you don't have a copy of this – there will be plenty of copies around on the night.
Rounds will be 1hr 50 minutes, and to fit everything in we will be kicking off with registration at 6:30pm – we will start early if everybody is present.
To finish rounds promptly, we will call ‘no new turns’ 5 minutes before the end of the round, with a strict dice down when time is called.
Schedule:
6:30 arrival, registration and briefing
6:55 round 1 pairing
7:00-8:50 game 1
8:55-10:45 game 2
10:45 Prizes and handshakes
The ticket price is made up of your regular table fees (£4.50 - no need to sub in on the night) and a £2.50 contribution to prize support, all of which will go back into these events.

Please sign up before the day of the event to avoid any delays. List submissions are not required, but please consider bringing a list printout if you think it's needed!
Tickets can be purchased on the night at the bar if required.
Registration cut off is at 6:55. Byes may be used in case of odd numbers. Late attendees will be given a forced draw for game 1, but will be dropped if you can’t make it in time for game 2. If you’re unable to attend on the night, or can only make the first date, please let the TO (Dan Stuart) know as soon as possible!
