GitzandGobz Painting Workshops are an ongoing series of painting sessions led by GitzandGobz Studio Artist Andrew Woods.
These sessions are aimed at beginner, amateur and intermediate painters, and each one-day workshop will elevate your miniature painting skill, knowledge and experience in a variety of ways.

In this NON-METALLIC METALS workshop, attendees will learn about:-
-REALISTIC LIGHT REFLECTIONS
-PRECISION CONTRASTS
-BRUSH AND PAINT CONTROL
-COLOUR THEORY TO MAKE YOUR MODELS STAND OUT
YOU WILL NEED:-
*** A WET PALATTE *** - This is essential for this workshop. May be available in-store on the day but strongly recommended to acquire one before the event.
-A hobby knife/razor blade.
-A selection of favourite colours to paint with.
-A selection of your favourite paintbrushes (a variety of old and new is ideal).
A selection of weathering products & assorted paints will be on hand to be used during the class.
A very broad selection of painting and hobby supplies are always available to purchase in the on-site store.

FOOD & DRINK: Snacks and drinks are available from the on-site bar. Hot food can be ordered and delivered directly to you using our QR Codes displayed around the venue. You're also welcome to bring your own food but we ask that you do not bring any external drinks in to the venue, and rather that you support the venue by purchasing all drinks at the bar.
TRAVEL & PARKING: Free parking is available in the venue car park and in the local council car park next door to the venue. There are good public transport links within the area. Davenport Train Station is the nearest train link within a 5-minute walk of the venue. Stockport train station and Stockport bus station are 15-minute walks from the venue with good bus and taxi routes available. If catching a bus from Stockport bus station we recommend catching the Stagecoach 192 bus up to Nangreave Road/ Aquinas College/ Bamford Arms. If travelling from further afield and wishing to stay overnight there are lots of hotels within 5 minutes of the venue including a Premier Inn across the road behind the Bamford Arms.
