The Armada UK/Irl FB Group and Element Games are proud to bring you the Star Wars Armada GT sponsored by AMG as this years Big Weekend event.
Not only will you be entering into the 2-day GT, you will also have access to multiple side events across the weekend, including Kessel Run, Armada Wing, and The Big Battle. Lunch is provided on day one (Saturday) as a part of your ticket cost.

GT EVENT FORMAT:
This will be a Swiss style tournament played over 3 rounds on Day 1, with each round played over 135mins (2hrs 15mins).
Depending on numbers, a Top 8 Cut round will be played out at the end of Day 1. The Top 4 Cut and Top 2 Cut rounds will be played on Day 2.
The GT Event will follow the standard tournament rules and use the current Armada Ruleset.
The event will be open to all factions.
Fleets cannot exceed 400 points but may be less than 400 points. Fleets may not include more than 134 points of squadrons and no more than 4 unique squadrons.
REGISTRATION:
Registration and round pairings for the event will be managed using Longshanks. Players should
CLICK HERE to register their fleets.
Please be aware that you will not be allowed to participate unless your fleet is registered on the above Longshanks event. All players must submit their lists to Longshanks as a part of their registration.
PRIZE SUPPORT:
Prize support will include a participation prize and ranked prizes from the available AMG GT prize kits plus other alt arts and additional prizes from the Armada UK/Irl FB Group.
In addition, there will be a Wooden Spoon last place prize and Special Bounty Prizes that will be available each day for achieving special goals during play (details on the day).
SIDE EVENTS
Side events will be run across the weekend for those not wanting to take part in the main GT Event or for those who drop from the GT event.
Sunday will involve more opportunities for participation in side events for those who do not manage to make the Top Cut. Side events will start at 10am on each day.
FOOD & DRINK
Snacks and drinks are available from the on-site bar. External food is permitted and we recommend that you bring your own food but there are local shops and food venues within a short walking distance of the venue as well as some that will deliver to your table within the venue.
We ask that you do not bring any external drinks in to the venue and rather that you support the venue by purchasing all drinks at the bar unless you have a special dietary or medical need to do otherwise.
TRAVEL & PARKING:
Free parking is available in the venue car park and in the local authority car park next door to the venue.
There are good public transport links within the area. Davenport Train Station is the nearest train link within a 2-5 minute walk of the venue. Stockport train station and Stockport bus station are 10-15 walks from the venue with good bus and taxi routes available. If catching a bus from Stockport bus station we recommend catching the Stagecoach 192 bus up to Nangreave Road/ Aquinas College/ Bamford Arms.
If travelling from further afield and wishing to stay overnight there are lots of hotels within 5 minutes of the venue including a Premier Inn across the road behind the Bamford Arms.
YOUR TICKET & REFUNDS
This purchase is for a virtual ticket and no physical product will be sent to you. We will publish your name in a list of entrants for the event and on the Longshanks event and will use such to advertise ticket sales. We will also be taking pictures at the event. If you discover you can’t attend, Element Games can process a refund for you if you email
[email protected] no later than Monday 24th February 2025
If you find you cannot attend after this time, we will not be able to process a refund as food, venue space, and prizes will have been bought and paid for.
