Standard Showdown Kaladesh!
Magic Standard Showdown Kaladesh is a series of little Saturday events that will award players with a special Showdown Booster pack!
Each week we have 10 Special Booster packs to award.
What's in the Booster Packs?
Buy-a-Box and Standard Showdown booster packs each contain three cards.
Cards are drawn from Battle for Zendikar, Oath of the Gatewatch, Shadows over Innistrad, Eldritch Moon, and Kaladesh, and include:
One foil of any rarity or a card from the Masterpiece series (drop rate 1/33)
Two rare or mythic rare cards
How will the packs be awarded (highest to lowest place in each instance until all 10 are awarded)
1) undefeated players
2) returning players from previous weeks
3) new players to Showdown
4) players who brought a friend.

EVENT FORMAT - STANDARD
PRIZE SUPPORT
As well as the Showdon Booster we'll award Kaladaesh Boosters to each player. The number you receive:
1 Kaladesh Booster for attending the event
+1 Kaladesh Booster for winning 2 rounds in the Swiss
+1 Kaladesh Booster for winning 3 rounds in the Swiss
TIMINGS
There will be no Top Cut at this event. We'll run 3 rounds of Swiss if we get 8 or less players, 4 Rounds if we get 9-16 players.

Swiss Round 1 starts 13:00
Swiss Round 2 starts 14:00
Swiss Round 3 starts 15:00
Swiss Round 4 starts 16:00 (if 9 or more players attend)
Swiss ends 17:00 (prizes are awarded)
After the Swiss ends the final standings will be announced and prizes distributed. There is no Top cut.
These events are capped initially at 16.
Food & Drink:
Snacks and drinks will be available on site. It is recommended to bring your own lunch but there are local shops and Takeaways within walking/driving distance if you want to buy some. The venue is a Licenced Premises and as such no outside drinks, with the exception of water, may be brought into the venue. Also in accordance with WPN policy there is to be no alcohol consumed at the Magic tables.
Parking/ travel:
FREE PARKING all day outside in the venues shared/private car par and next door in the 46 space Council run car park.
Public transport:
Davenport train station is the closest at a 10-15 minute walk but the main Stockport Station is also only 20-25 minute walk (and you'll find more frequent trains). You can get the bus from Stockport Station for less than �2.00 each way. And the Bus stops at the end of our road - opposite Premier Inn and is a 2 minute walk.

This purchase is for a virtual ticket and no physical product will be sent out to you. If you discover you can't attend the event we can process a refund for you up to 14 days prior to the event running. Please email

If after this date you find you can't attend we won't be able to process a refund for you as food, venue space and prizes will have been bought and paid for.
