Evening Magic: Booster Draft 12 April

SHADOWS OVER INNISTRAD BOOSTER DRAFT Registration and casual play 1800-1900 Drafting starts at 1900 (prompt) We'll aim for 3x 45minute rounds aft drafting and construction Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 2 Random players Prize pot dependent on actual numbers. Prizes will be allocated by the TO on the night before the event kicks off so you all know what you are playing for! Tickets: �11.00 in advance, �12.00 on the night Your ticket gets you 4 Magic the Gathering Boosters � 3 to Draft with (and you get to keep the cards!) and 1 to put in the prize pot What is a Booster Draft? Want a way to play that offers a level playing field and lets you check out new cards at the same time? Then a limited format like booster draft may be for you. Unlike constructed formats, where you arrive with a carefully constructed deck ready to play, limited formats allow you to build a deck from new cards as part of the game. At the start of booster draft, each player opens a booster pack and picks a single card. (Don�t show the other players what you pick!) Then everyone passes the rest of their pack to player on their left, each player then picks a card from the pack they just received before passing again. This process continues until all the cards in those packs have been drafted. Then each player opens a second pack, but this time, you pass the pack to your right. After all those cards are drafted, you do the same with the third pack, passing to the left again. Once all the packs have been drafted, everyone builds a deck from the cards they have selected. You may add as many basic lands (Plains, Islands, Swamps, Mountains, and Forests) to your deck as you�d like, but each deck must have at least 40 cards.
