WizKids Open - Dice Masters Regional Championship Events will be Unlimited Constructed Tournaments (using standard tournament rules) consisting of multiple rounds of Swiss-style pairings followed by a Single Elimination Top 8 Cut.

National Championship Qualifications
For every eight players entered into the event (rounded up), one player earns a 2016-2017 Dice Masters National Championship Qualification. If a player is already qualified for the 2016-2017 Dice Masters National Championship in the country in which the WizKids Open is being held, their qualification passes down to the next highest ranked player who does not already have a qualification for that country�s 2016-2017 Dice Masters National Championship.

TIMINGS
Timings and the number of rounds are dependent on the total number of players present. We will announce the timings for the day and number of rounds in the pre-event brief.
As a guide here are the timings for a 17-32 player event. 17+ players would be 5 rounds of Swiss followed by Top 8 cut.
A Match will last 50 minutes and be best of 3 games. After the Round draw has been published players will have 5-10 minutes to find their table, meet their opponents and get set up.

After the Swiss ends the final standings will be announced and prizes distributed to those not continuing in a Play-off cut.
These events are capped initially at 32.
Food & Drink:
Snacks and drinks will be available on site. Lunch is provided at this event but there are local shops and Takeaways within walking/driving distance if you want to buy/bring more in.

The venue is a Licenced Premises and as such no outside drinks, with the exception of water, may be brought into the venue.
Parking/ travel:
FREE PARKING all day outside in the venues shared/private car par and next door in the 46 space Council run car park.
Public transport:
Davenport train station is the closest at a 10-15 minute walk but the main Stockport Station is also only 20-25 minute walk (and you'll find more frequent trains). You can get the bus from Stockport Station for less than �2.00 each way. And the Bus stops at the end of our road - opposite Premier Inn and is a 2 minute walk.
