EVENT FORMAT

Assuming we get over 16 players we will be playing a 5 round swiss event, followed by a Top 8 play off in single game elimination to determine the Store Champion!
Expected finish times, 6pm for swiss and 10pm for final.

If we have 16 or less players we will run 4 rounds of swiss with a Top 8 play-off and plan to finish an hour or so earlier.

The Event will follow all the Standard X-wing Tournament rules as found on the FFG site.

We will be playing 75 minute rounds, with a 10 minute break between rounds and a 30 minute lunch break after round 3.

You have 100 squad points to build your list. Squad lists will be required (hand-written is ok but we would prefer you use one of the Squad Builder Aps) and blank forms will be available on the day.

PRIZE SUPPORT
Dependent on final number but as well as �5 per person being awarded as Store Credit we will receive the following from Fantasy Flight Games:

Champion: The winner receives a Store Championship plaque and a card granting one first-round bye at a Regional Championship of the player�s choice.
Top Four: The top four players each receive one challenge coin
Top Eight: The top eight players each receive one acrylic range ruler

FIRST Thirty-Two TICKETS SOLD: each receive one C-3PO alternate art card

Food:
Snacks and drinks will be available on site. It is recommended to bring your own lunch but there are local shops and Takeaways within walking/driving distance if you want to buy some.

Parking/ travel:
FREE PARKING all day outisde in the venues shared/private car par and next door in the 46 space Council run car park.

Public transport: Davenport train station is the closest at a 10-15 minute walk but the main Stockport Station is also only 20-25 minute walk (and you'll find more frequent trains). You can get the bus from Stockport Station for less than �2.00 each way. And the Bus stops at the end of our road - opposite Premier Inn and is a 2 minute walk.
