EVENT FORMAT




Expected finish times, 4.00pm for swiss and 7.30pm for final.




We will run 3 rounds of swiss. If we have 9 or more players we will then run a Top 4 play-off. If not then ranking is based on the 3 games of Swiss.




The Event will follow all the Standard Star Wars: The Card Game Tournament rules as found on the FFG site.




We will be playing 75 minute rounds in the Swiss (2 games each round) and 30 minute rounds in the Championship play Double-elimination (1 game each round) , with a 10 minute break between rounds and a 30 minute lunch break after round 2.

Swiss ends, Top 8 announced 16:00 (the Chewbacca alt cards will be handed out)




If we have 9 or more players we will then run a Top 4 cut

Store Final starts 18:30




There is no time limit in the Championship play Final. A second game will be played if the first game is lost by the unbeaten player so far.

Final finished and Store Champ crowned: 2000hrs (no later than!! Hopefully 7.30pm)




Each player must bring one light side and one dark side deck to the event.




Each deck must contain one affiliation card and a minimum of ten objective sets. There is no maximum deck size; however, you must be able to shuffle your deck with no assistance.




PRIZE SUPPORT




Dependent on final number but as well as �5 per person being awarded as Store Credit we will receive the following from Fantasy Flight Games:







Champion: The winner receives a Store Championship plaque and a card granting one first-round bye at a Regional Championship of the player�s choice.

Top Four: The top four players each receive one playmat

Top Eight: The top eight players each receive one deck box

Top Thirty-Two: The top thirty-two players each receive one Chewbacca alternate art card




Food:




Snacks and drinks will be available on site. It is recommended to bring your own lunch but there are local shops and Takeaways within walking/driving distance if you want to buy some.




Parking/ travel:

FREE PARKING all day outisde in the venues shared/private car par and next door in the 46 space Council run car park.




Public transport:

Davenport train station is the closest at a 10-15 minute walk but the main Stockport Station is also only 20-25 minute walk (and you'll find more frequent trains). You can get the bus from Stockport Station for less than �2.00 each way. And the Bus stops at the end of our road - opposite Premier Inn and is a 2 minute walk.
