MKA Studios Painting Masterclass 18-19th April Product Description

PLEASE SEE SECOND PICTURE FOR EQUIPMENT LIST

MKA studios is proud to present our masterclass painting weekends. These weekends are designed to take miniature painters of all standards and develop their skills to a new level. Learning how to paint miniatures from the bare plastic all the way to an advanced level. Using many tried and tested techniques that have been used throughout the years. Techniques like pre shading, colour application, washing, blending, chipping, scratching, highlighting, transfer application, weathering powders, oil paints, heat bloom and many more. We will teach you how to turn a freshly manufactured model into a realistic battle hardened veteran of the war zone.

Times: 9am-6pm.

The course will be tailored to everyone's needs by telling you which materials and products you need to bring along to paint a model from your army. All you need to do is e mail us at [email protected] to tell us the army you wish to paint and we shall send you a full list of paints and products need to paint that colour scheme.

The perfect model to learn on is a rhino armoured personnel carrier from games workshop. Alternatively you can use forgeworlds Deimos pattern rhino if it fits into your army better.
Of course if you do not paint space marines then get in touch with us and we can discuss an alternative from your army to bring along.

Day one will be spent using an airbrush. As well as learning about the correct way to apply transfers. A technique often so easily over looked. You will have the entire process broken down to teach you everything from airbrush maintenance, control and use in an easy, challenging and fun.

Day two you will be learning about the use of the many weathering techniques used throughout different layers to enhance that feeling of realism on a model.

By the end of the course you will have a finished model to take away and use in your collections too.
