Cold Steel Mercenaries - 40k National Champs
What is it?
As a group of players us Cold Steel Mercs love 40k, and always have right from 1st edition. It�s a game which has brought many of us together and is responsible for deep and long lasting friendships within our group.
As we are scattered across the country (a bit like the Primarchs but better...) we regularly attend events to play games but, more importantly, to meet up and have some beers and catch up with good mates.
We love games which are involving for both players and where both players have the opportunity to get something from the game. One could say we love games which involve skill and tactics, even if we�re mostly lacking in both!

The Element Games North West Gaming Centre is a full-time gaming Centre with capacity for over 100 players. The Centre has a mass of fully painted terrain, tables and gaming mats for you to play your games on. Between games and in the evening you can relax and socialise at the venue thanks to it�s fully licensed Bar serving a selection of cold, hot and alcoholic drinks & snacks.
Free Car parking can be found at the venue & next door in a Council car park.

Food & Drink:
Snacks and drinks will be available on site. Lunch is included. The venue is a Licensed Premises serving soft, hot and alcoholic drinks. As such no outside drinks may be brought into the venue, bringing food/takeaway in is fine and the staff will even help you with places to order from.
Parking: FREE PARKING all day outside in the venues shared/private car par and next door in the 46 space Council run car park.
Travel:
Public transport: Davenport train station is the closest at a 10-15 minute walk but the main Stockport Station is also only 20-25 minute walk (and you'll find more frequent trains). You can get the bus from Stockport Station for less than �2.00 each way. And the Bus stops at the end of our road - opposite Premier Inn and is a 2 minute walk.
Flights: Fly in to Manchester Airport and get to the venue by Taxi or Bus. Or fly into Birmingham and get a direct train from Birmingham International straight to Stockport. Please email
