Crazed Scottish units specialised in close combat, the Galwegians have toughened bodies, are incredibly strong with broad backs and rough and ready when moving. The various platoons of the 45th are made up of soldiers from the same clan or family. They are easily recognised by their extravagantly large, wide cutting weapons, their tartan dress and their amazing resistance to cold or tiredness.
