The Iron Guard form the personal guard of a Dwarf king. Each Iron Guardian is appointed by the king himself, from the most courageous, skilled and tenacious of his warriors.
In battle, each Iron Guardian is distinguished by his helmet, a forged mask that completely covers his face and part of his beard, characterized with his own effigy in glowing tempered iron. These masks give the Iron Guard a particularly menacing appearance in battle formation.
Champions of G�llnir are the best of the chosen, only below the noble Dwarf Lords in power and command.
