The Grand Slam is the Premier Gaming event from Element Games for each of the major gaming systems commonly played at the Centre. There will be one Grand Slam a year for each system and although it�s hoped many gamers will take part, only one can be Champion!
This is the Grand Slam for Horus Heresy. Up to 100 gamers will take part in two days/5 games of 2500pt Horus Heresy at the Element Games NWGC. Friday night the venue will be open for social, casual games and a free to enter 1000pt fun warm up event. Saturday evening will be a more casual affair with pizza, drinks and pub quiz!

The Element Games North West Gaming Centre is a full-time gaming Centre with capacity for over 100 players. The Centre has a mass of fully painted terrain, tables and gaming mats for you to play your games on. Between games and in the evening you can relax and socialise at the venue thanks to it�s fully licensed Bar serving a selection of cold, hot and alcoholic drinks & snacks.
Free Car parking can be found at the venue & next door in a Council car park.

How much is it? Entry is �40.00
Food & Drink:
Snacks and drinks will be available on site. Lunch will be provided both days (Subway buffet) as will Saturday evening food. The venue is a Licensed Premises serving soft, hot and alcoholic drinks. As such no outside drinks may be brought into the venue, bringing food/takeaway in is fine and the staff will even help you with places to order from.
Parking:
FREE PARKING all day outside in the venues shared/private car par and next door in the 46 space Council run car park.
Travel:
Public transport: Davenport train station is the closest at a 10-15 minute walk but the main Stockport Station is also only 20-25 minute walk (and you'll find more frequent trains). You can get the bus from Stockport Station for less than �2.00 each way. And the Bus stops at the end of our road - opposite Premier Inn and is a 2 minute walk.
Flights: Fly in to Manchester Airport and get to the venue by Taxi or Bus. Or fly into Birmingham and get a direct train from Birmingham International straight to Stockport. Please email
