Element Games Grand Slam for Warhammer 40,000
WHAT IS IT?
The Element Games Grand Slam returns! This time it�s full ITC missions and scoring!
Up to 94 gamers will take part in two days/5 games of 2000pt Match play 8th Edition Warhammer 40,00 at the Element Games NWGC. Friday night the venue will be open for social & casual games to chill out and warm up before the event. Saturday evening will be a more casual affair with drinks and pub quiz!
The Tournament is being run by Caledonian Events, Tim King & Tony Chew, who have many years of experience at running, judging and playing at high level Warhammer 40,000 events. Any questions should be directed to them via Facebook or

At the conclusion we will award the following awards:
Event Champion plus 2nd and 3rd placed Generals
Most Sporting
Best Army plus 2nd and 3rd Best Armies
Wooden Spoon
Other awards like Best in Faction/Race will be dependent on numbers and announced closer to the date.
Food & Drink:
Snacks and drinks will be available on site. Lunch will be provided both days (Subway buffet) as will Saturday evening food. The venue is a Licensed Premises serving soft, hot and alcoholic drinks. As such no outside drinks may be brought into the venue, bringing food/takeaway in is fine and the staff will even help you with places to order from.
Parking:
FREE PARKING all day outside in the venues shared/private car par and next door in the 46 space Council run car park.
Travel:
Public transport: Davenport train station is the closest at a 10-15 minute walk but the main Stockport Station is also only 20-25 minute walk (and you'll find more frequent trains). You can get the bus from Stockport Station for less than �2.00 each way. And the Bus stops at the end of our road - opposite Premier Inn and is a 2 minute walk.
Flights: Fly in to Manchester Airport and get to the venue by Taxi or Bus. Or fly into Birmingham and get a direct train from Birmingham International straight to Stockport. Please email

YOUR TICKET & REFUNDS
This purchase is for a virtual ticket and no physical product will be sent out to you. If you discover you can't attend Element Games can process a refund for you if you email them before 12 noon Wednesday 30th October 2019. Please email
[email protected].
If after this time you find you can't attend, we won't be able to process a refund for you as food, venue space and prizes will have been bought and paid for.
There won't be a reserves list. Instead Element Games will offer a full refund up until 30th October 2019. Just email
[email protected] if you require a refund. Returned tickets will be periodically but back up for sale.
If after this date you have to drop out, then we can look at transferring tickets to interested players - but don't do it before you speak with me as I won't honour ticket transfers that haven't been approved. Email Caledonian_events@yahoo,co.uk if you wish to transfer a ticket.
