EVENT FORMAT
We will be playing a 4 round swiss event (if we get 8 or fewer players it will be a 3 round event)
Expected finish times, 6.30pm (hopefully earlier)
The event will be played using the OP document - Regional Cup Format.
We will be playing 100 minute rounds (45 minutes per player on chess clocks), with a 10 minute break between rounds and a 40 minute lunch break after round 1.

If we have 16 or fewer players we will be playing a 4 round event.

TBC - Dependent on final numbers but will include at least �5 per person being awarded as Store Credit

Drink:
The Venue's Bar will be open during the event serving a selection of hot & cold beverages, soft & alcoholic. As the Premises is licensed we do ask that you only consume drinks bought from our bar on site.
Food:
Snacks and drinks will be available on site. It is recommended to bring your own lunch but there are local shops and Takeaways within walking/driving distance if you want to buy some.
Parking/ travel:
FREE PARKING all day outisde in the venues shared/private car par and next door in the 46 space Council run car park.
Public transport: Davenport train station is the closest at a 10-15 minute walk but the main Stockport Station is also only 20-25 minute walk (and you'll find more frequent trains). You can get the bus from Stockport Station for less than �2.00 each way. And the Bus stops at the end of our road - opposite Premier Inn and is a 2 minute walk.
YOUR TICKET & REFUNDS
This purchase is for a virtual ticket and no physical product will be sent out to you. We will publish your name in a list of entrants for the event to advertise ticket sales and in the list document. We will also be taking pictures at the event. If you would prefer to go by a Pseudonym or not have your picture taken please email

If you discover you can't attend Element Games can process a refund for you if you email us 24 hours before the event starts. Please email
[email protected] .
If after this time you find you can't attend we won't be able to process a refund for you as food, venue space and prizes will have been bought and paid for.
