What is it?
Welcome to autumn 1-day Warhammer 40,000 event for 2018! Red Orktober!
Over the course of one day, 3 games, players will pit themselves against one another in a series of 2000pts games of 8th Edition Warhammer 40,000.

The Element Games North West Gaming Centre is a full-time gaming Centre with capacity for over 100 players. The Centre has a mass of fully painted terrain, tables and gaming mats for you to play your games on. Between games and in the evening you can relax and socialise at the venue thanks to it�s fully licensed Bar serving a selection of cold, hot and alcoholic drinks & snacks.
Free Car parking can be found at the venue & next door in a Council car park.

Other awards like Best in Faction/Race will be dependent on numbers and announced closer to the date.

Food & Drink:
Snacks and drinks will be available on site. Lunch is not included so please bring your own or pop to the shops on the lunch break. The venue is a Licensed Premises serving soft, hot and alcoholic drinks. As such no outside drinks may be brought into the venue, bringing food/takeaway in is fine and the staff will even help you with places to order from.
Parking: FREE PARKING all day outside in the venues shared/private car par and next door in the 46 space Council run car park.
Travel:
Public transport: Davenport train station is the closest at a 10-15 minute walk but the main Stockport Station is also only 20-25 minute walk (and you'll find more frequent trains). You can get the bus from Stockport Station for less than �2.00 each way. And the Bus stops at the end of our road - opposite Premier Inn and is a 2 minute walk.
Flights: Fly in to Manchester Airport and get to the venue by Taxi or Bus. Or fly into Birmingham and get a direct train from Birmingham International straight to Stockport. Please email

YOUR TICKET & REFUNDS
This purchase is for a virtual ticket and no physical product will be sent out to you. We will publish your name in a list of entrants for the event to advertise ticket sales and in the list document. We will also be taking pictures at the event. If you would prefer to go by a Pseudonym or not have your picture taken please email

If you discover you can't attend Element Games can process a refund for you if you email us 48 hours before the event starts. Please email
[email protected] .
If after this time you find you can't attend we won't be able to process a refund for you as food, venue space and prizes will have been bought and paid for.
