Type 4 Ho-Ro Self-propelled Gun Platoon (x3) Product Description
Armed with a 15cm howitzer, the Type 4 Ho-Ro could lob a 36kg shell over six kilometers, destroying enemy defences and slow-moving targets.
The mechanisation of Japan�s armed forces proceeded at an extremely slow pace during the war. Lacking the resources to develop dedicated self-propelled artillery, they instead turned to expedient adaptations of existing designs.
One such vehicle was the Type 4 Ho-Ro, designed as a tank destroyer mounting the 150mm Type 38 howitzer and equipped with shaped charge rounds capable of defeating the Sherman.
This box set contains Three Type 4 Ho-Ro Self-propelled guns.
