Unlike other troopers the Princeptor did not volunteer to join the legions, rather, the Princeptors are bought by the Milistratum from the gladiator schools and assigned by special need.
These experts in coordinated brutality are ideal for taking on enemy elites and they can even tie-up the opposing warlord for several turns due to their expert skills in parrying deadly blows.
When employing his Riposte tactic, the Princeptor can dish out a frightening number of attacks per turn, and combined with his high MEL value he makes a versatile and effective model that can also be used to massacre basic units.
