Nightwing is the original Boy Wonder grown up. After suffering tradegy as a child when his Acrobat parents cruelly fell to their death, the young Dick Grayson became the ward of Bruce Wayne. Eventually learning that Bruce Wayne is Batman, they teamed up and fought crime in Gotham city.
Becoming tired of being in the shadow of Batman, he left Gotham for a time and became the costumed crime-fighter Nightwing. He returns to Gotham when he sees Bruce Wayne being captured by Tyger guards and taken into Arkham City.
