EVENT FORMAT - STANDARD
You can pay on the day but buying in advance will guarantee your place in the event
PRIZE SUPPORT
Each ticket bought puts 2 packs into the prize pot.
Each player in the top 8 will recieve a minumum number of booster packs based on standing:
1st: 16 Packs + RPTQ Invite
2nd: 8 Packs
3rd-4th: 6 Packs
5th-8th: 4 Packs
This prize support is based on 24 or less players attending. Each player above 24 that attends will increase the prizes available for the top 8.
TIMINGS
Timings and the number of rounds are dependent on the total number of players present. We will announce the timings for the day and number of rounds in the pre-event brief.
As a guide here are the timings for a 24 player event. 24 players would be 5 rounds of Swiss followed by Top 8 cut, exceeding 32 players would add one additional round of swiss.

After the Swiss ends the final standings will be announced and prizes distributed to those not continuing in a Play-off cut.
Food & Drink:
Snacks and drinks will be available on site. It is recommended to bring your own lunch but there are local shops and Takeaways within walking/driving distance if you want to buy some. The venue is a Licenced Premises and as such no outside drinks, with the exception of water, may be brought into the venue. Also in accordance with WPN policy there is to be no alcohol consumed at the Magic tables.
Parking/ travel:
FREE PARKING all day outside in the venues shared/private car par and next door in the 46 space Council run car park.
Public transport:
Davenport train station is the closest at a 10-15 minute walk but the main Stockport Station is also only 20-25 minute walk (and you'll find more frequent trains). You can get the bus from Stockport Station for less than �2.00 each way. And the Bus stops at the end of our road - opposite Premier Inn and is a 2 minute walk.

This purchase is for a virtual ticket and no physical product will be sent out to you. If you discover you can't attend the event we can process a refund for you up to 24 hours prior to the event running. Please email

If after this time you find you can't attend we won't be able to process a refund for you as food, venue space and/or prizes will have been bought and paid for.
