Friday Night Warhammer Underworlds: Shadespire

Welcome to our Friday Night Shadespire event, casual gaming available during the afternoon with an organised event from 7pm (casual gaming is free with your event ticket)
The event will not be using the Matched play rules as found in the WU: Shadespire Rulebook and instead using the Winter 2017 OP format provided by GW.
The main difference is that you'll declare your Warband and Deck at Registration (and use the same all evening) rather than choose at the start of each game. And play a series of one off games randomly drawn against 2-3 opponents (no sides - it's a free for all!)

Tables set up from 12noon, Registration from 6.30pm with Game 1 starting at 7pm.
Timings
Each game will last between 60-90 minutes. The first round draw will be a random draw but 2nd and subsequent rounds will be done by swiss. If we have 8 or fewer gamers we will play 3 games, 9 or more and it will be 4 games. There will be a short 5-10 minute break between the games. If time is called in the round and you are still playing complete the game round you are on (activation and end phase) and proceed to the Victory phase (skipping any further rounds if you haven't started them)

The Organised Play event
What do you need to bring:
- a WU: Shadespire Warband (models & matching fighter cards)
- at least 1 WU: Shadespire board
- a set of dice, objectives 1-5 and set of tokens you'll need to play a game of WU: Shadespire with
- a minimum 20 card power deck
- a 12 card objective deck
Standard Deck construction rules apply as found on pg 13 of the rulebook.
Working out who has won
At the end of the game work out who has won using standard Victory conditions after the End Phase of Round 3 (see pg 25 of the Rulebook)
The player who wins the game receives 3 Tournament Points (TPs), 2nd place 2pts, 3rd & 4th score 1pt
At the end of the event the player with the most Tournament Points wins! With total Glory scored used as a tie-break.

Food:
Snacks and drinks will be available on site. You can bring in food but only drinks bought from the Bar can be consumed on the premisis.
Parking/ travel:
FREE PARKING all day outisde in the venues shared/private car par and next door in the 46 space Council run car park.
Public transport:
Davenport train station is the closest at a 10-15 minute walk but the main Stockport Station is also only 20-25 minute walk (and you'll find more frequent trains). You can get the bus from Stockport Station for less than �2.00 each way. And the Bus stops at the end of our road - opposite Premier Inn and is a 2 minute walk.
