In the board game Diplomacy take 2-7 players the leadership from one of the seven European superpowers in the early twentieth century. Choose from Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Austria-Hungary, Turkey and Russia. Try the available units 18 of 34 existing catchment areas to conquer on the board. But to get that done, you need the help of the other players who have the areas under their control. The most important rule in doing so: no appointment, which was made during the negotiations, is binding. This may have far-reaching consequences. But if you often violate your events, do not trust any other player more. With diplomatic work, making and breaking alliances timely and strategic insight can you win the game.
